The State of Monemvasia
Capital: Haifel. Marble plazas, grand amphitheaters, and an elven crown.
Monemvasia occupies the center-south of Voir, and wears its taste openly, classic Greco-Roman architecture, marble plazas, and amphitheaters built for crowds most other Voir states couldn't fill. Queen Riquelanthalis, an Elven High Noble, rules from Haifel alongside her son and heir, Roch.
Its true wealth, though, runs through Nefferin, a port town of some 35,000 people, still half-ringed by ruined ancient walls, with a working sand port, an active thieves' guild known as The Cat's Paw, an Iüdex temple, and enough custom artisan shops to keep every noble house in Haifel supplied. To the north, Lake D'zo sits dotted with islands few Monemvasians can name, and further still the deeply haunted Hantier Forest swallows the ruined city of Kehilar whole, no one goes in after it on purpose.
The Crown
Queen Riquelanthalis, an Elven High Noble, rules Monemvasia from a throne that looks like it grew there.
Riquelanthalis holds Monemvasia the way the state holds itself, with an easy, unbothered grace that never quite hides how much control sits underneath it. She rules from Haifel alongside her son and heir, Roch, and by most accounts genuinely enjoys the job, which puts her in rare company among Voir's crowned heads.
Full lore on her reign, her court, and Roch's own role hasn't been written yet. This page will grow as that gets fleshed out.
